Days 1-2 | Makgadikgadi Pans
Spend your first night in the spectacular Leroo La Tau lodge, situated on the western bank of the Boteti River, which forms the boundary of the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. This area is famous as a critical link in the annual zebra migration, and the surrounding area is abundant in lion, and is also home to leopard and cheetah, making it a great first stop!
Days 2-8 | Kalahari
The majority of this tour is 7 nights across two mobile camping locations in the Central Kalahari, giving you ample game drives and varying landscapes. You'll spend 4 nights in Deception Valley, which is grassed and provides for wildlife year round, and 3 nights in Passarge Valley, one of the primary sites in Botswana to catch a glimpse of the famous black-maned Kalahari lions.
Days 8-9 | Tau Pan
The trip ends heading south-west with a final night in the at the magnificent and wildlife rich Tau Pan. The lodge is situated on the crest of an ancient dune and has a commanding view of the surrounding wilderness - a perfect location for the last night here. We shall conduct our own activities on the final afternoon and possibly take part in the bushmen walking experience if time allows.
